Occupy WT

We’ve all heard about Occupy.  It was a big deal last year when people said they were sick of Wall Street spending so much money on their bonuses and messing up our economy.  It was a big deal.  We hadn’t seen this kind of protest in a long time.  People were standing up for what they believed in!

Standing up for what you believe in.  That’s what this post is about.  Don’t get any crazy ideas like I’m saying we should have a sit in or picket signs.  But WT is really great about letting you speak your mind.  If you have a problem with the way something is being done, make an appointment to talk to someone.  Or send them an email.  If you go to WT’s website and search any professors name under faculty, an email and a phone number will pop up.  It’s that simple (:

Also, in your WT emails, there are often polls that you can fill out to express your opinion.  It’s a great and easy way to let the higher ups know what you think, feel, and want.  So don’t ever think that WT doesn’t care about you.  Someday you might have an issue about something that is going on, use the resourced around you to fix that issue or at least bring light to it!
