In high school, as long as you passed your classes with good grades, you more than likely got through it very easily. Coming to college, it’s very easy to look at your classes and school in that aspect. While college is a great time in your life, a lot of planning for your future is involved. When talking to professors, one of the first things they might ask you is what is your grade point average (GPA). And of course you want that to be a great number, especially if you’re talking to your advisor or someone that may guide you to your future graduate school or whatever you path may be. So when it come to classes in college, your main goal should be GREAT grades, while enjoying college remember that your future is what you make it. Study hard!

good grades aren’t the only focus. Remember that a potential employer will most likely hire someone with an okay GPA and lots of school activities/community involvement than they will someone with only a high GPA. Being involved is much more important than just good grades.
