Foreign Visitor (Oct. 11, 2011)

Hey guys! 🙂

Sorry about the delay. Like any job, it takes a little while to get into the system and really get going. Never fear my friends, for I’ve been having plenty of adventures in the meantime and can’t wait to share them with you. 🙂

This first tale took place during the first 2 weeks of September, when a foreign visitor came to WT. Her name is Chelsea, she traveled for the first time to Texas all the way from Houghton Regis, England. And yes, I mean the country across the Atlantic Ocean. (Apparently some people aren’t familar with it. If this is you, invest in a globe. Now.)

Anyways, during Chelsea’s 2 week exploration of all things Texan my friends and I introduced her to all the really important things in life. At least those that we could reasonably manage and afford since we’re all broke college kids 😛 This list included taking her out for real bbq, going dancing at Midnight Rodeo, showing her what Walmart is all about, and teaching her to shoot a gun. Nature helped us out as well by treating her to the best of Texas’ bipolar weather. Hahaha 😛 Bet most of you remember that 2 week cold front we had in September.

So overall, my friend from abroad enjoyed her stay and left with the impression that we’re all insane. She intends to return as soon as she can. 🙂

Hope my anecdote improved the day for someone 🙂 If you have any ideas for future shenanigans or questions about any of the things I get up to, please leave me a comment! xXx
