As you all know my Name is Brian Steele, and I am a Junior here. I have pretty much lived all over but was born right here in good ole Amarillo, Texas. After that I moved to College Station, Tx to West Lafayette, IN, to Fort Collins, CO, and finally before coming back moved to Bozeman, MT. I graduated high school from Bozeman High School, where I was involved with many different church activities, as well as wrestling my junior year, and actively warming the bench for the football team my years in high school. People often ask me “Why WT?” well after being rejected from Texas A&M they sent me a letter with alternate options, WT being one of them. All my relatives happen to still live in the Panhandle, mostly Amarillo, so I thought I could stick it out for a year. After being here a year I realized this is exactly where I wanted to be for my undergrad. Jones Hall was amazing, and I became an RA there my sophomore year. Now as I enter my junior year, I get to make history being one of the first RA’s in Buff Hall. I love WT and I’m so glad to be here, along with being an RA I am also involved with the BSM, RHA events, and living the dream. My family still lives in Bozeman, MT which include my dad Doug, mom Lori, sister Lindsey (sophomore here at WT, RA in Cross), Katie (Senior at Bozeman High), and brother Kyle (Freshman at Bozeman High). My dad is a vice provost at Montana State, and director of Extension for the State of Montana. My mom is a substitute teacher for the school district in Bozeman. My sister Katie is actively involved in band and looking to go to Texas Tech but we all know she will end up at WT. My brother Kyle is a freshman involved in band as well but if he is anything like me, you know he is a ladies man at the high school. I love meeting new people and getting to know them so if you see me on campus hit me up or add me on facebook!

Hey Brian!!!
This is your MOM!!!!! I miss you babe. Loved your article, but your Dad is a Vice-Provost at Montana State. Just a typo, but you need to correct it.
I love you too much and I’m SO proud of you.
Love,
Mom
brian is my hero.
Hey Brian,
Way to go: 2 responses and one is from your mom! (and now your dad). I guess I should worry about am874613, whoever that person is. You forgot to mention that your dad is a proud WTAMU alumni with his masters degree and your mom is a proud WTAMU former student (you should not say drop out because that is not a very positive statement; and hey, she now has her degree—way to go mom!). Okay, that’s all for now. Glad to know your blog is changing the face of the country.
Hello, Brian,
Is your mother’s maiden name Webb? If so, I am confident that she and I attended Tascosa High School. She was a fantastic and godly friend during our high school days. Please give her my regards, and tell her I would love to visit with her.
Blessings,
Liz Everett
