My name is Abbey Jo, and my mom says I can dance like an angel. I was born and raised in the Dallas area, and I had never even seen a feed lot when I moved into my dorm at West Texas A&M University. I fell in love with this small town, and campus, and I’m actually now a sophomore, resident assistant, and a party waiting to happen.
Though some say I might not be the most motivated, I enjoy my classes and look forward to being a female Mr. Feeny someday to the John Adam’s High Schools of the future.
I spend a lot of time in and around Palo Duro Canyon mountain biking, hiking, looking at stars, and contemplating my own belly button. Even though the beach is probably my favorite place in the world, I’d say that Canyon, Texas is number two. Sometimes I paint pictures, and if I just so happen to be drawing in the margin during a lecture, it doesn’t mean I’m not listening.
Laughing is my favorite, I think chai tea is delicious, music holds society together, macaroni is a full meal, dancing is therapeutic, pictures are priceless, war is overrated, my family is a blessing, my friends are the best, Jesus is the promised messiah, socks keep my feet warm in the winter, and West Texas A&M is the bomb dot com.
Just so you know who you’re talkin’ to….
You are an Angel!
